Job summary

Experitec Inc. is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the accounting organization, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and uphold strong internal controls.

You will partner across FP&A, Operations, Project Management, and Executive Leadership to drive revenue recognition, treasury, and ESOP accounting within a growing, employee-owned environment. You will oversee monthly closes, audit readiness, and the development of scalable processes, with a hybrid work model after an initial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP, revenue recognition, ESOP, and technical accounting.
• 5+ years of people leadership in accounting/finance.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience with BI, automation tools.
• 2+ years of ERP system experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and audit processes.
• Ability to work 8am-5pm onsite, with transition to hybrid after initial period.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journals and reconciliations.
• Own GAAP financial reporting and general ledger integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash, and project accounting.
• Manage audit readiness and internal controls.
• Drive revenue recognition, ESOP accounting, and technical accounting.
• Oversee treasury, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Develop scalable processes and automation with BI/ERP tools.
• Coach and develop accounting team; collaborate with cross‑functional leaders.
