Job summary

Tempo Inc./US-EcoLogic is seeking an Accounting Manager in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to lead the accounting department, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. The role partners with the Controller/VP of Finance and focuses on process improvement, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• 3+ years of experience as a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, cash receipts, and general ledger activities.
• Review and approve recurring journal entries, accruals, allocations, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor month-end and year-end close; coordinate close activities among staff.
• Perform account fluctuation and trend analyses to support monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare and deliver budget vs actual analyses and explain significant variances.
