Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in manufacturing accounting, strong WIP and cost reporting expertise, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills. CPA is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting, month-end close, and WIP.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA is not required; strong technical accounting background and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting analyses for review by the Controller.
• Assist with work-in-progress (WIP) reporting and analysis to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting.
• Supervise the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting functions as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and maintain strong internal controls.
• Assist with ERP system maintenance and reporting.
