Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience managing a month-end close.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Analyze financial results and investigate budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other outside partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Manage, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
• Support special projects and other financial initiatives as needed.
