Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Progressive accounting or finance experience, including responsibility for financial close, reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP and the ability to apply accounting guidance to business transactions.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with enterprise finance systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for assigned entities and business processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate close activities across business, shared-service, and corporate accounting teams.
• Analyze financial results, investigate significant movements, and provide clear variance explanations to leadership.
• Own balance sheet governance, account reconciliation quality, and timely certification processes.
• Review reconciliations and aging schedules; drive resolution of unreconciled items, aged balances, and accounting anomalies.
• Maintain compliance with SOX and internal control requirements and support audits.
• Collaborate with business partners finance to ensure accurate accounting outcomes.
• Translate operational activity into clear accounting requirements, ownership, and close procedures.
• Research and document accounting conclusions for complex or non-routine transactions.
• Support assessments involving business combinations, purchase accounting, leases, impairments, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with tax, legal, treasury, and external advisers when specialized input is required.
• Support acquisition accounting, Day 1 readiness, opening balance sheet preparation, and PPA activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals with clear priorities and development plans.
• Drive standardization, simplification, automation, and documentation of accounting processes.
