Job summary

Element Fleet Management is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the North American lease accounting, close processes, and internal controls. You will guide a four-person team, ensure accurate reporting, and strengthen financial controls across the organization.

The role combines hands-on technical accounting with leadership, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Operations to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation required or preferred; strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience leading accounting professionals and managing month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; solid financial reporting background.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial close, journal entries, and issue resolution.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain SOX/compliance.
• Prepare variance analyses and provide financial insights to management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on new products and initiatives to assess accounting implications.
• Improve accounting processes through automation and standardized practices.
