Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with accounting in a public company or within a high-growth organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems andfinancial reporting tools.
• Experience as a people manager preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle R12, NetSuite, JDE, Epicor) preferred.
• Experience in consolidation systems (OneStream / Hyperion) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance related to the management of the financial close process.
• Lead a team of 2+ staff; centralizing tasks across several ERP systems.
• Design, system oversight, controls, and implementation for applicable accounting processes.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure accuracy across entities.
• Implement processes to ensure transaction accuracy and valid business purpose.
• Ensure processes and controls are efficient; collaborate with functions to optimize accounting controls.
• Develop and manage financial controls per company policies; safeguard inventory through internal controls.
• Maintain internal control documentation (process narratives, control matrices, flowcharts).
• Remediate identified control deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure review of financial statements (flux analysis) is documented and submitted monthly.
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting.
• Partner with Plant Controllership to analyze significant variances and material transactions.
• Perform periodic reviews of Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
