CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager in Tampa, FL to lead and develop the accounting team and partner with executive leadership. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives using NetSuite and Resident Interface to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong experience with NetSuite required.
• Experience with Resident Interface and/or property management accounting systems preferred.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff while fostering team development.
• Utilize NetSuite and Resident Interface to ensure accurate financial reporting and resident/account management processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning initiatives.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
