Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
• Experience mentoring or supervising a team preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and analyses to support leadership decisions.
• Oversee AP, AR, cash activity, and balance sheet management on a daily basis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with strong documentation and controls.
• Support external audit, tax, and compliance activities with organized records.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members and promote accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close activities
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reporting packages, and account analyses to support leadership decision‑making
• Oversee daily accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and balance sheet management
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong documentation
• Maintain strong internal controls, accounting procedures, and audit‑ready documentation
• Support external audit, tax, and compliance activities through accurate reporting and organized financial records
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and quality review for accounting team members while promoting accountability and professional growth
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, automate processes, and increase operational efficiency
• Assist with accounting system improvements and initiatives that enhance scalability and financial visibility

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of full‑cycle accounting responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close processes
• Previous supervisory, mentoring, or team leadership experience preferred
