The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and CPA-eligible status, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience; public accounting a plus.
• Experience in power generation, renewable energy, manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; prior supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close and financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Prepare and review month-end and annual financial reports and narratives.
• Monitor budgets and variances; advise on corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process with budget owners.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and reporting.
• Supervise accounting staff and coach the team.
• Participate in special projects and provide leadership analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close and financial reporting process in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely results.
• Prepare and review month-end and annual financial reports and management narratives.
• Monitor budgets, project expenditures, and budget-to-actual results, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process and partner with budget owners to align financial plans with organizational goals.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, accounting procedures, and financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff while maintaining strong team performance.
• Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA exam eligible preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
