Job summary

CFS in the United States is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team and partner with the CFO on accounting matters. The role leads two staff members and drives process improvements within a distribution/manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and a track record of improving closes and efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Distribution or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team members.
• Manage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare year-end schedules and support the external audit process.
• Serve as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Assist with hiring and developing accounting staff.
