Boly-Welch Inc. in Portland, OR, is seeking an Accounting Manager who will take ownership of core accounting operations, safeguard financial reporting integrity, and help the function run smarter and more efficiently.

You'll oversee accounts payable and receivable, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, manage banking and cash, and produce recurring reports. The role starts with on-site training and moves to a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Experience supporting AP and expense management platforms.
• Intercompany accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
• Oversee banking and cash management and prepare recurring financial reports.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and standardize workflows.
• Provide accounting support to internal partners and act as a trusted resource.
• Begin with on-site training and transition to a hybrid schedule.

As Accounting Manager, you'll take ownership of core accounting operations, safeguard the integrity of financial reporting, and help the accounting function work smarter and more efficiently.

As a hands-on, individual-contributor Accounting Manager, you'll oversee a broad range of accounting activities with a focus on accurate reporting and a smooth month-end close. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable; preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses; completing balance sheet reconciliations; and maintaining clear records and supporting documentation. You'll also oversee banking and cash management, prepare recurring financial reports, and serve as a trusted accounting resource for internal partners. Along the way, you'll have room to improve processes, simplify workflows, and establish additional standardization as needed.
