Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its accounting function and develop a small team. The role offers direct access to the CFO and executive leadership, with opportunities to drive process improvements and engage in key financial discussions.

The position manages GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and inventory accounting, with support for year-end audits. A manufacturing/distribution background and prior supervisory experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Distribution or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team members.
• Manage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare year-end schedules and support the external audit process.
• Serve as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
• Assist with hiring and developing accounting staff.
