Job summary

CFS in Chicago's South Suburbs is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance team and partner with operations to influence cost control and profitability.

You will own month-end close, budgeting, and internal controls, mentor staff, and drive process improvements in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's in accounting, 5+ years in manufacturing finance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience with ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs and profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Lead and develop accounting staff while driving process improvements.

Target Compensation
