Job summary

CFS in Chicago's South Suburbs is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing environment. This high-visibility role partners with finance and operations leadership to drive numbers and decisions.

You will lead month-end close, analyze statements, and support inventory costing and manufacturing reporting. The role offers growth and meaningful impact within a stable team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support inventory accounting, cost analysis, and manufacturing reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Target Compensation: 90k-110k plus bonus
