About The Company

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the general ledger team
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
• Coordinate year‑end audits with external auditors
• Manage the preparation of audit schedules, data requests, financial statements, and accompanying footnotes
• Streamline intercompany accounting, allocations, and accrual management
• Develop KPI dashboards to improve accounting operations and performance
• Assist with filings, partner transactions, and compensation‑related entries
• Implement machine learning tools for journal entry automation/approval and reconciliations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 7-10 years of related accounting experience within a professional services environment
• Experience at a law firm a plus
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems
• Success driving process transformation, system implementations, and AI/automation initiatives
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial automation platforms
