Village Green is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the full accounting function within our real estate and rental leasing operations. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet preparation, and lead a team to support budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, at least five years of experience, and proficiency with RealPage Accounting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and full cycle accounting expertise.
• Experience with RealPage Accounting software.
• Proven ability to manage bank reconciliations and balance sheet prep.
• Experience with real estate and leasing industries is a plus.

The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions within our real estate and rental leasing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Job Description

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Lead job costing and cost accounting activities to track project expenses and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and professional growth.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic initiatives.
