Job summary

Randstad USA partners with a well established and expanding company seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, the fiscal close, and multi-site accounting. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated professional to join a growing team with a path toward Controller.

The role offers a salary range of $120,000–$140,000 per year, a first-shift schedule, and hours from 8 AM to 4 PM in Massachusetts. Location on site, Bachelor’s degree required, and a 30-day posting period.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-site accounting and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close with journal entries, accruals, P&L variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and conduct consolidation for multiple sites.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and CAMs; ensure tax compliance across states.
• Monitor cash balances, oversee AP batches, and enforce expense policies.
• Establish accounting standards and refine close efficiency and reporting quality.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will be responsible forensurng accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for a multi-site, company. This position will own the fiscal close, GL maintenance, lease, fixed assets, and multi-state compliance.

• Perform month-end close. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, P&L variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial statement preparation and consolidation
• Manage the fixed assets, depreciation schedules
• Oversee CAMs. File multi-state sales and property taxes.
• Monitor daily bank balances, manage cash funding, review weekly AP batches, and enforce expensecompliance.
• Establish accounting standards, enforce capitalization thresholds, and independently resolve accounting judgments to continually refine close efficiency and reporting quality.
