Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with ability to balance strategic and tactical work.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization looking to add an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee a small accounting team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with detailed accounting responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

This is a FULLY On-Site Role.

What You'll Do

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets, inventory accounting, payroll, and budgeting activities.
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to support business performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Partner with leadership to provide timely financial insights and decision support.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Drive process improvements across accounting and finance functions.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or management responsibility.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience with inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with the ability to work in both strategic and tactical capacities.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls knowledge.

Preferred

• Experience overseeing payroll processing.
• Exposure to tax compliance and reporting.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions or currency exchange accounting.
• ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment.
