Job summary

You will own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, strengthen internal controls, and partner with senior leaders on budgeting and special projects. This role demands hands-on leadership and a commitment to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred or in progress.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience leading a small team and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Mentor and develop a team of three accounting professionals.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliant accounting policies.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Support inventory accounting, accruals, revenue recognition.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and special projects.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Support ERP enhancements and system initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations to support financial accuracy.
