Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Manager in Mequon, Wisconsin, to lead a skilled accounting team and own the close process. You will oversee GL, AP, AR, and reconciliations, while delivering timely financial statements and robust management reporting.

You will partner with operations to analyze costs, inventory, and margins, driving process improvements and stronger financial controls. A leadership role with hands-on involvement awaits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis while providing financial insights to leadership.
  • Partner with manufacturing and operational leaders to analyze costs, inventory, margins, and overall business performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while improving processes, controls, and efficiency across the department.
