Job summary

CFS, a Wisconsin-based employee-owned manufacturer, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. You will perform general ledger reconciliations, prepare monthly statements, and support accounts payable/receivable in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, including internship or public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and account analysis.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash reconciliations, and other daily accounting functions.
  • Assist with inventory accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and other manufacturing-related accounting activities.
  • Partner with the accounting team to research discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial records.
