Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory reporting obligations
• Coordinate internal and external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors
• Manage banking relationships and financial institution partnerships
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
• Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and financial systems
• Assist with risk management initiatives and insurance oversight
• Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
