Our Kenosha, WI corporate office is searching for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, self-reliant, proactive, and detail oriented. We are looking for a “go getter” and someone who takes initiative. Supervising your department through all aspects of data entry, research, project management, accounting, recordkeeping, accounts payable/accounts receivable and owner reporting.
Create, review and distribute invoices, account statements, monthly aircraft owner statements and other financial reports as needed.
Reconciliation of aircraft activity folders, flight logs and expense reports to ensure accurate and prompt invoices reach clients and owners in a timely manner.
Serve as main point of contact for office staff, pilots, aircraft owners and charter clients with regards to billing/invoicing items.
Your daily tasks include heavy Excel spreadsheet usage and accounting software.
Be capable of leading a department of 3-5 accountants in proper processing of reports, checklists, recordkeeping, flight booking or one of the many aspects of charter trips.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance on daily tasks, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Work closely with and support multiple departments. Communicate timely and accurately with other team members.
Be polite and understanding. You never know what a customer or team member is going through and your ability to respond professionally is what makes our company better.
