This position reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and plays a critical leadership role in coordinating aircraft maintenance activities while working closely with multiple departments across the organization.
Lead and perform routine aircraft maintenance, including inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of airframe and engine systems in accordance with Federal Regulations.
Assist the Director of Maintenance with oversight of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance tracking.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance personnel to ensure high-quality, efficient work practices.
Communicate, as required, with vendors, suppliers, pilots, operations staff andmanagement teams regarding maintenance planning and aircraft status.
Must demonstrate efficient use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for accomplishment of duties as assigned.
Interpretation of technical manuals, instructions, schematics and drawings,AD’s, service bulletins and implementation of established maintenanceprocedures.
Ensure personal compliance with Aviation Advisor, Inc. safety standards.
Exercise independent judgment, decision-making abilities and the desire to become a key member of the organization.
