Solomon Page is seeking an Accounting Manager for an onsite role in El Segundo, CA. You will lead month-end close, oversee AP, accruals, fixed assets and intercompany, and present variance analyses at entity and consolidated levels.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication to guide offshore teams while ensuring audit readiness and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience required.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP across accruals, prepaids, fixed assets.
• Strong communication skills; able to oversee offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and ensure timely, accurate close across key areas.
• Oversee and review deliverables from onshore and offshore teams (AP, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany).
• Develop and present variance analysis for monthly financial movements at entity and consolidated levels.
• Align GL structures across entities for reporting consistency.
• Own fixed asset and lease accounting including depreciation and ASC 842 rollforwards.
• Track cash flow and working capital with visibility into AR and balance sheet items.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors to support filings and data integrity.
• Create and improve reconciliation templates and accounting workflows.
• Maintain audit readiness with proper cut-offs and supporting documentation.

Job description

Our client is looking for an Accounting Manager. This position is onsite located in El Segundo, CA with flexible start times.

• Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 + bonus & equity

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close, ensuring all critical activities are completed timely and accurately across key areas
• Oversee and review deliverables from onshore and offshore teams, including AP, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany
• Develop and present variance analysis to explain monthly movements in financial results at both entity and consolidated levels
• Align and streamline GL structures across entities to create consistency in reporting
• Own fixed asset and lease accounting, including depreciation, amortization, and rollforward schedules (ASC 842)
• Track cash flow and working capital, with visibility into AR and related balance sheet items
• Collaborate with external tax advisors to support filings and ensure financial data integrity
• Create and enhance reconciliation templates while driving process improvements across accounting workflows
• Maintain strong audit readiness through proper cut-off practices and thorough supporting documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have both public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) and industry exposure
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles across key areas such as accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach; capable of overseeing and guiding offshore teams with clear direction and feedback
