Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close and financial statement experience.
• Solid journal entry, reconciliation, and general ledger background.

• Experience guiding or overseeing accounting, AP, or AR team members.

Responsibilities

• Own and support the month-end close process
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting
• Handle journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account review
• Analyze cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow analysis, or financial reporting
• Experience guiding or overseeing accounting, AP, or AR team members
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach with strong follow‑through
• Strong communication, judgment, and ability to work directly with leadership

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a growing, high-volume, or operationally focused business
• Small‑to‑mid-size company experience with broad accounting exposure
• Distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, or related industry experience
• Experience improving manual processes, reporting, or accounting systems
• Experience working with an outside CPA or external accounting firm

Compensation

$115,000 - $135,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
