Job description
Lead the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
Review and approve journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
Oversee reconciliation of general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed
Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting and compliance
Partner with external auditors during the annual audit and coordinate required tax filings at the federal, state, and local levels
Manage fixed asset records and depreciation schedules for both financial reporting and tax purposes
Prepare internal financial reporting packages, including budget-to-actual variance analysis, to support operational and leadership decision making
Assist with consolidated financial reporting and supporting schedules across multiple entities or business units
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and help transition workflows to more efficient systems and financial tools
Provide leadership to the accounting team by setting priorities, offering guidance and feedback, and supporting cross-training to strengthen team capabilities
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience working with ERP systems, financial platforms, or system implementation initiatives
Working knowledge of tax compliance such as sales and use tax and exposure to international tax frameworks is helpful
Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing more efficient workflows
Ability to operate in a growing organization with a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach
Strong ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Nice to have
CPA or other relevant professional certification
Experience in high-growth, technology-enabled, or platform-based business environments
