We’re looking for an Accounting Manager / Assistant Controller who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting function while also helping improve processes as the company continues to scale.

You will work closely with leadership, mentor team members, and play a key role in keeping the financial operations accurate, timely, and efficient — without sacrificing nights and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers
• Identify and implement process improvements as we grow
• Jump in where needed — they are a team and support each other

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER / ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate
• 3-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry
