The ideal candidate has a solid general accounting background with leadership experience and a track record of improving accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous experience supervising or managing accounting staff.
• Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and month-end accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a growing and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop members of the accounting team
• Coordinate monthly accounting and reporting activities
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Provide oversight of general ledger and transactional accounting functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with annual audit and tax requirements
• Work with other departments to research and resolve accounting issues
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
• Participate in accounting systems and process improvement initiatives

This position will have broad responsibility within the accounting group including financial reporting, general accounting and oversight of accounting staff.

Compensation: $135K–$150K plus bonus, equity and excellent benefits.
