Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a Boston-based venture-capital backed manufacturing company to recruit a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager. This onsite role reports to the Corporate Controller and offers substantial growth as the team scales.

The candidate will manage month-end close, financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, tax and compliance, and lead a growing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in public accounting is required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Running the month end close and oversee accounting operations (A/P, A/R, Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition).
• Lead the preparation and oversight of financial statements and maintain compliance with US GAAP.
• Research technical accounting issues.
• Support budgeting and forecasting and analyze financial performance.
• Assist with preparing regulatory reporting.
• Oversee Tax and compliance initiatives.
• Lead a small rapidly growing team.

Back Senior Accountant. Senior Accountant Boston, Massachusetts Perm 125000 Aug 25, 2026 $125000.00 - $150000.00. KBW has recently partnered with a venture capital-backed manufacturing company based in Boston that’s actively looking to hire a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to their rapidly growing team. The Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager will be reporting directly to the Corporate Controller! The organization has been scaling rapidly and offers a tremendous amount of growth! This position is onsite in Boston 5 days per week.

Main Skills/ Responsibilities:
