CFO Advisory Group in Boston offers an Accounting Manager role with remote/hybrid work options. You will lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while partnering with business leaders to drive growth.

The position requires CPA and 5+ years of accounting experience. You will collaborate with external auditors and mentor staff in a fast-growing CPA firm environment.

Up to $165,000 Base Salary + Bonus

MUST HAVE CPA

We're partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while partnering with business leaders to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger activities
• Partner with external auditors during audits and reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
• Mentor and develop accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with general ledger systems and ERP platforms
• CPA preferred but not required
• Public accounting experience is a plus
