Job summary

Enterprise Holdings is seeking an Accounting Intern at its Administrative Headquarters in Linthicum, MD. You will gain exposure to basic accounting procedures, including accounts payable/receivable, financial statement preparation, and analysis, while supporting multiple departments.

The program targets Bachelor’s students in Accounting or Finance graduating between August 2026 and May 2027, with 40-hour weeks, a 12-week duration, starting end of May 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be a college student enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an Accounting or Finance Major.
• Must be a senior or rising senior, graduating between August 2027 and May 2028.
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must have satisfactory background check including driving and references.
• Must have a valid US driver's license for one year.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to start end of May 2027.
• Must be able to commit to a 40 hour work week.
• Must be able to commit to 12 weeks.
• Must be living within a 1 hour commute of Linthicum, MD for summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and tasks.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.
