Job summary

Enterprise is seeking an Accounting Intern in Linthicum, MD for the summer of 2027. The program provides exposure to financial management and prepares you to manage your own financial operation within the company.

You will gain hands-on experience in accounts payable/receivable, financial statement preparation, and analysis. The role requires a 40-hour work week over 12 weeks, with a May 2027 start date.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Accounting or Finance).
• Senior or rising senior graduating between Aug 2027 and May 2028.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Coordinate with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and analysis.
• Involved with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions; cash receipts.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor Degree Program with an expected graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be a college student enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an Accounting or Finance Major.
• Must be a senior or rising senior, graduating between August 2027 and May 2028.
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference, education and social security.
• Must have a valid US driver's license for one year
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futur
• Must be able to start end of May 2027
• Must be able to commit to a 40 hour work week.
• Must be able to commit to 12 weeks.
• Must be living within a 1 hour commute of Linthicum, MD for the summer of 2027
