Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy is offering an Accounting Intern position in Illinois for Summer 2027. The program trains you in financial management and prepares you to become a Business Manager of your own operation.

The role is paid, with a pay rate of $24.00/hour based on a 40-hour week. Starting in May 2027 and ending in early August 2027, the internship places you in an environment where you work with accounting procedures, A/P and A/R support, and reporting tasks across regional offices in

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting with May 2028 or sooner graduation.
• Experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analysis.
• Work with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and tasks.
• Involved with A/P and A/R functions; cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.

This role will be located at one of our regional offices in either Lombard, IL or Alsip, IL

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in preparing financial statement & analysis
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments
• Assist accounting managers with reports, etc.
• Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cash
• Assist in accounting schedules & filing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
