Job summary

SIMON in Cheyenne, WY, offers a Corporate Accounting Intern position designed for students pursuing accounting, finance, or business administration. The program provides mentorship and exposure to real-world financial operations within a collaborative team.

You will support month-end closings, financial reporting, and budgeting while gaining hands-on experience in JD Edwards, Citrix/HeavyJob, and other accounting systems. A driving license is preferred, and the posting is open until filled.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a degree program in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarterly closings and budgeting.
• Assist with accounts receivable, payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform data entry in accounting systems (JD Edwards, Citrix/HeavyJob, ADRA, OnBase and Anaplan).
• Meet regularly with assigned mentor to discuss ideas and progress.
• Complete capstone project and present to company leadership.
