Colas Inc. and its subsidiary Simon invite students to join their internship program designed to expose participants to operations in accounting and finance.

You will work in administrative and operational areas, contribute to company goals through focused projects, and apply classroom concepts to business operations. Under supervision, you will assist the Accounting/Finance team with month-end closings, financial reporting, AR/AP, and data entry into systems like JD Edwards, Citrix/HeavyJob,

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience with accounting software and data entry is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support month-end and quarterly closings, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Assist with accounts receivable, payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform data entry into accounting systems such as JD Edwards, Citrix/HeavyJob, ADRA, OnBase and Anaplan.
• Meet regularly with a mentor to discuss ideas and progress.
• Complete a capstone project and presentation for leadership.
