Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking an Accounting and HR Coordinator in Richmond, VA to support daily financial activities and HR operations. You will assist payroll, recruitment, and vendor communications while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, 1–2 years HR/administrative experience, and strong customer service and financial management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing and Math skills.
• 1–2 years HR or administrative experience preferred.
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Financial management skills required.
• Brand systems knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist payroll guidance and processing tasks.
• Support staffing updates, approvals for hiring exceptions, and eligibility/rehire status.
• Coordinate recruitment initiatives with property leadership and hiring managers.
• Ensure HR and Accounting recordkeeping meets auditors and government requirements.
