Job summary

LHH in Chicago partners with a growing organization to recruit a high-visibility accounting and finance leader reporting to senior finance executives. This CPA will drive process improvements, partner across the business, and help deliver operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers exposure to senior leadership, a mix of strategic projects and accounting leadership, and a hybrid work arrangement in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting foundation strongly preferred
• Experience in complex, multi-entity environments
• Demonstrated success leading projects and influencing stakeholders
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving business environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and support critical accounting and finance initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and controls
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and business leaders
• Support complex transactions and business integration activities
• Help enhance reporting, processes, and operational workflows
• Drive project-based initiatives designed to improve organizational performance
• Contribute to ongoing process standardization and documentation efforts
