Job summary

LHH has partnered with a high-growth technology company to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to support the Accounting Manager and Controller during a pivotal scaling phase.

In a fast-paced environment, you will help set up the company’s accounting and finance infrastructure and systems, collaborate with leadership, and drive improvements across entities and currencies with visibility to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
  • 3–6 years of experience; public accounting background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS experience a plus
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Business Central
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead core accounting operations including journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and month-end close across entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
  • Maintain financial records and controls with audit-ready documentation
  • Monitor and analyze general ledger activity, investigate variances, and validate account balances
  • Support preparation of financial reporting packages for leadership, FP&A, and operations
  • Assist with audit readiness and coordinating requests
  • Assist with system enhancements and ERP optimization to improve workflows and data quality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and forecasting inputs
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to reduce manual effort

Job description

LHH has partnered with a high-growth technology company that is looking to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a newly created role designed to suport the Accounting Manager and Controller.

Best suited for candidates comfortable with a fast-paced environment where you'll be part of setting up the company's accounting & finance infrastructure + systems. Great visibility with leadership and strong ability for progression.

Responsibilities
  • Lead core accounting operations including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and month‑end close activities across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Maintain financial records and controls, providing thorough documentation to support internal and external audit requirements while helping to strengthen internal accounting processes.
  • Monitor and analyze general ledger activity, investigating variances, validating account balances, and ensuring appropriate classification across business units.
  • Support preparation of financial reporting packages, supplying accurate actuals and analytical insights to finance leadership, FP&A partners, and operational teams.
  • Participate in audit readiness and coordination, creating schedules, responding to requests, and improving audit‑related procedures to support compliance and organizational transparency.
  • Assist with system enhancements and ERP optimization, including improvements to workflows, reporting modules, and data quality within platforms such as NetSuite or comparable systems.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and technical teams to ensure financial data accuracy, support forecasting inputs, and improve end‑to‑end accounting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to reduce manual effort and enhance overall accounting efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field, advanced degrees/CPA preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience; ideally with a background in public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required
  • Experience with IFRS a plus
  • Experience with inventory accounting a plus
  • Proficiency with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Business Central, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets preferred
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable in fast‑paced, scaling environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work on tight timelines
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across financial and operational teams
