Seacoast Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant/Controller-level professional in Tampa, FL to manage daily accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance. The role oversees month-end close, accounts payable, and coordination with internal and external auditors, regulators, and business lines.

You will drive data accuracy, enhance internal controls, and provide insightful financial analysis for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license is a plus and highly valued.
• Experience in banking/financial services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily accounting activities including general ledger operations and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end close and GAAP compliance across accounting teams.
• Oversee accounts payable and liaise with internal/external auditors and regulators.
• Analyze contracts for accounting treatment and report financial statements.
• Lead process improvements and internal controls in finance.
