Job summary

Resident Interface seeks an experienced Accounting Manager at our Tampa, Florida headquarters. You will lead the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely financial reporting. This hands-on role reports to the Accounting Director and collaborates with business leaders to drive informed decisions.

The position covers month-end and year-end close, general ledger management, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support, with opportunities to expand leadership as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA designation highly preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience including corporate and public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close activities.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger; prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support annual audits and external reviews; coordinate with CPAs.
