Job summary

Seacoast Bank in Orlando is seeking an experienced accounting leader to direct daily accounting operations and oversee the month-end close process. The role ensures GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting while serving as the primary liaison with auditors and regulators.

You will oversee accounts payable, strengthen internal controls, and drive finance transformation projects. You will also mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Licensed CPA a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in public accounting or accounting within a large public corporation.
• Banking/financial services experience preferred.
• Mastery of GAAP accounting concepts and current practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive process improvements.

• Coordinate daily accounting operations and oversee month-end close.
