CP Build is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support AP and AR in a fast-growing interior finishes contractor based in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The role emphasizes accurate records, assistance with invoices, payments, and billing queries to support project outcomes and sales growth.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in accounting or education, strong detail, and comfort with spreadsheets and accounting software. A bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting is preferred but not required.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of cross-functional accounting experience or education preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Prior experience with job cost accounting is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
• Perform full-cycle AP functions including three-way invoice matching and approvals.
• Verify, classify, post, and record financial transactions.
• Assist with bank deposits and other daily accounting tasks.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and ensure payments are posted.
• Manage and complete lien waiver requests.
• Contact customers regarding past-due balances and resolve issues while maintaining relationships.
• Prepare reports and support weekly AR meetings.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
