The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in search of a detailed oriented and timely candidate to join our accounting team as an Accounting Clerk!

Part of Milwaukee based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln has been serving Nebraska's capital city for nearly 90 years and has evolved as the benchmark for hospitality.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer statements by posting accounts, allowances, refunds, and payments. Review of guest ledger accounts for timely payment receipts.
  • Data entry / posting to accounts.
  • Run statements and verify information.
  • File and organize payroll files.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Two-year college degree in Accounting preferred or 1-2 years experience in an accounting role.
  • Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems / programs such as PeopleSoft, Excel, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills with verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good supervisory skills.
  • Able to think and act independently.
  • Operate calculator, PC, Keyboard.
