Job summary

Reading Partners is a national nonprofit focused on helping children become lifelong readers. We seek an Accounting Capacity Building VISTA to strengthen financial workflows, document accounting processes, and build internal controls across systems such as Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Concur.

You will create reporting tools and dashboards to support organizational decision-making and work with the Accounting team to improve financial data quality during 11/16/2026-11/15/2027.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Interest in nonprofit finance, financial operations, or data management.
• Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets, or reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and document financial workflows across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Concur, and Google Sheets.
• Identify opportunities to improve data consistency and efficiency.
• Develop standardized process guides for recurring accounting activities.
• Create reporting templates and dashboard prototypes for leadership use.
