The Athens Orthopedic Clinic is hiring an Accounting Associate to support accounts payable management and payroll processing in a busy physician-led practice.
You will post deposits, run payroll reports, reconcile expenses and produce financial analyses to improve performance across multiple entities including ambulatory centers and clinics. Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in QuickBooks and GAAP is required.

The Athens Orthopedic Clinic Team includes 400 dedicated clinicians, technologists, and administrators whom serve over 237,000 patients each year. We are a thriving, physician-led, independent orthopedic practice that has been committed to the North Georgia community for over 60 years. Our practice encompasses 10 regional locations, three wholly owned ambulatory surgery centers, MRI/CT Imaging Centers, a comprehensive Outpatient Therapy Network, a premier Occupational Medicine Center, and Northeast Georgia’s only Orthopedic Urgent Care Centers. Our services operate 7-days per week to deliver on our promise that “access matters”. The AOC contributions to medical education and research are extensive, with numerous ongoing studies and over 150 medical students hosted in the past decade. Many of our physicians serve as Teaching Faculty at the University of Georgia School of Medicine, and the Medical College of Georgia where they play a pivotal role in training and preparing the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.

The Accounting Associate will perform a variety of business office functions including accounts payable management. This position supports ongoing process improvements for all bookkeeping activities.
