Job summary

ATHENS ORTHOPEDIC CLINIC, PA is seeking an Accounting Associate in Athens, GA to manage accounts payable and payroll processing while supporting process improvements across bookkeeping activities. The role reports to the VP of Finance and contributes to accurate financial reporting.

Requirements include 5+ years in accounts payable and payroll, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; on-site work at the Athens location is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years accounts payable and payroll processing experience; at least 3 years with medium to large corporation.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Post deposits daily for all companies.
• Pull reports from Paylocity and enter bi-weekly payroll in QuickBooks Online.
• Do HSA payments and internal bank transfers as needed.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards for all companies.
• Check vendor statements to QuickBooks as they come in.
• Write/print refund and vendor checks for all companies.
• Maintain internal/external lease documents and update payments as needed
• Help reconcile bank statements at the end of each month
• Develop financial analysis for performance improvement.
