Job summary

Andrew Wommack Ministries is seeking an Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of accounting support tasks, including daily bank deposits, batching, and reconciliation of student accounts. The role supports the Bursar Team and requires daytime availability, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Accounting degree or at least 2 years of accounting experience, strong math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong math and 10-key skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process daily bank deposits and reconcile batches with payments.
• Maintain student ledgers and update balances for tuition and housing.
• Audit accounts and resolve discrepancies in Charis and AWM systems.
• Provide backup to the Bursar team and assist with events.
• Handle mail, deposits, and related record-keeping.
