HW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounting Assistant for our North Easton, MA team. The role supports the accounting department with data entry, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in accounting or related field and 1–3 years of experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Corporate growth and a positive work environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or administrative role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions including data entry, invoice verification and payments.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Assist with preparation of financial documents for audits.
• Perform general administrative tasks including filing and data entry.
• Support other accounting-related projects as assigned.
